Today is National Science and Technology Workers' Day. According to the China Association for Science and Technology, the results of the 2024 Chinese Citizens' Scientific Literacy Survey show that the proportion of citizens with advanced scientific literacy is 2.30%, the proportion with scientific literacy is 15.37%, and the proportion with basic scientific literacy is 44.07%. The three groups mentioned above roughly exhibit a pyramid-shaped distribution of 1:7:19.
