On May 30th, Contemporary Amperex Technology's battery swapping network made a major breakthrough as the Jinliang Road Station in Pudong, Shanghai became the 100th completed swapping station in May. In less than 180 days since the start of operations, the battery swapping network has successfully entered 24 cities across the country, leading the industry significantly by establishing hundreds of new stations in a single month. In the future, Contemporary Amperex Technology will collaborate with China Petroleum & Chemical Corporation (Sinopec) to jointly build no fewer than 500 swapping stations by 2025, with a long-term goal of expanding to 10,000 stations to make "swapping batteries as easy as refueling" a reality.
