According to data statistics from Zhuochuang Information, as of May 28th, the average price of construction steel in the national market was 3117 yuan/ton, a decrease of 2.53% compared to the end of April. Looking back at historical data, from the years 2000 to 2022, over a span of 22 years, the market price of construction steel rose 10 times in June and fell 12 times; rose 14 times in July-August and fell 8 times. According to seasonal patterns, there is still a possibility of a decline in the construction steel market in June. At the same time, from the perspective of market supply and demand, it is expected that there may be a slight increase in supply pressure in the construction steel market in June, with demand performance still weak, cost centers shifting downwards, combined with weak market expectations, lack of clear bullish support in the market, and prices may continue to be under pressure.
