The National Bureau of Statistics held the first press conference of the "Data Element X" series today. Ms. Luan Jie, Deputy Director of the Policy and Planning Department of the National Bureau of Statistics, stated at the press conference that the implementation of the "Data Element X" action for more than a year has played an important role in speeding up the integration of data into socialized mass production and unleashing its unique value as a production factor. In order to further promote the deep and solid implementation of the "Data Element X" action, we will further strengthen scenario traction, continue to promote the construction of demonstration scenarios for public data "taking off", and are actively preparing guidelines for the application scenarios of "Data Element X" to provide more practical operational guidance to all parties. We will accelerate the consolidation of the digital foundation, release guidelines for the construction of national data infrastructure, carry out innovative development pilots in trusted data spaces, accelerate the convergence and popularization of data circulation and utilization technologies; encourage pilot trials, accelerate the creation of comprehensive experimental zones for data elements, cooperate with relevant departments to conduct in-depth pilot projects for "Data Element X", and promote the breaking of barriers in the application of data in key scenarios; focus on creating a development environment, strengthen the top-level design of the data market, build a nationally unified data market rules, infrastructure, and governance system, promote and nurture market entities, and create a more fair and dynamic market environment.
