Zhuhai provided up to 30 million yuan in funding to support the key core technology research and development of robots.

According to a report from Guangdong, on May 28th, the Guangdong Province Artificial Intelligence and Robotics Industry Innovation Products and Services Launch Conference and Zhuhai Cloud City Industry Development Conference was held at the Zhuhai International Convention and Exhibition Center. During the conference, Yao Wei, Director of the Zhuhai Industrial and Information Technology Bureau, introduced the newly released "Measures to Promote High-Quality Development of Artificial Intelligence and Robotics Industry in Zhuhai." The "Measures" propose 11 practical policy measures including supporting core technology research, strengthening innovation platform construction, nurturing high-quality enterprises and products, and promoting innovative application scenarios. Among them, there is the establishment of a 5 billion yuan "computing power voucher" and a 1 billion yuan "model voucher," providing eligible enterprises with 10 million yuan of "computing power voucher" and 1 million yuan of "model voucher" support each year, significantly reducing the costs of AI research and development and utilization for enterprises. In order to encourage technological innovation, Zhuhai will provide up to 30 million yuan in funding for key core technology research.
