Zambia's largest photovoltaic project connects to the grid and generates electricity
Recently, the largest photovoltaic project in Zambia, the Kabwe 100 MW emergency solar power project, constructed by China Electric Power Construction, was officially connected to the grid for power generation. The Kabwe 100 MW emergency solar power project in Zambia is located in the Chisamba district of Central Province and is a landmark project in China-Zambia energy cooperation. The main construction contents of the project include the construction of a 100 MW solar photovoltaic power station, a 33/132 kV substation, a double-circuit 2.7 km 132 kV transmission line, and the expansion of an existing substation.
