Yunnan electric bicycles drive sales of over 3.65 billion yuan through trade-ins for new ones.

According to the Yunnan Provincial Department of Commerce, since the launch of the "trade-in" program for consumer goods in 2025 in Yunnan Province on January 21, the province's trade-in program for electric bicycles has been progressing smoothly with significant results. As of May 22, a total of 2,348 sales enterprises and merchants in the province have participated in the program, with over 123,300 electric bicycles traded in for new ones. The subsidy applications totaled over 61.66 million yuan, driving sales of over 365 million yuan. More than 123,000 consumers have directly benefited from the program, and sales performance of nearly a thousand stores has significantly improved.
