Former Party Secretary of the Intermediate People's Court of Baoding City, Hebei Province, Li Jianli has been expelled from the party and dismissed from public office.

After investigation, it was found that Li Jianli had lost his ideals and beliefs, betrayed his original mission, disregarded the spirit of the central eight-point regulations, illegally accepted gifts, accepted invitations and travel arrangements that may affect the fair execution of official duties; ignored organizational principles, failed to report personal matters as required, sought benefits for others and accepted gifts in the selection and appointment of cadres; crossed the bottom line of integrity, obtained large returns through private lending and engaging in profitable activities in violation of regulations; violated work requirements, accepted requests from parties involved in cases, arranged for subordinates to inquire about the situation; indulged in personal desires, willingly became a target for exploitation, used his position for the benefit of others in handling cases and project contracting, and illegally accepted large sums of money.
