Zhito Finance APP has learned that EQT Corporation (EQT.US) is chartering two liquefied natural gas (LNG) carriers and plans to begin trading LNG cargoes next year, with the goal of becoming a global LNG supplier. This marks the latest move by the Appalachian natural gas producer to advance its LNG business, following its acquisition of rival Range Resources for approximately $12.8 billion earlier this week.
