Batch of New Products Debut at Bay Chip Exhibition, Domestic Semiconductor Equipment Pushes Toward High-End
Semiconductor equipment is a longstanding "bottleneck" link in China's semiconductor industry. How far has the road to a breakthrough for domestic semiconductor equipment come? At this year's Bay Chip Expo, a batch of new domestic semiconductor equipment, materials, tools, and other products were unveiled in a concentrated manner, becoming an excellent window for observing the industry's latest progress. As independent controllability continues to deepen, domestic equipment is steadily making breakthroughs in high-end fields. At this Bay Chip Expo, leading domestic semiconductor etching equipment company AMEC presented two newly released high-end semiconductor microscopic processing devices. Hwatsing Technology released a medium-current ion implanter product, continuing to push hard toward the localization of key equipment; Leadmicro launched its all-new iMagtron series magnetron sputtering system and ALD equipment dedicated to Ru ultra-thin film processes, achieving full-system coverage of the three mainstream thin-film deposition technology routes: ALD, CVD, and PVD.
