The inaugural voyage ceremony for the Guangdong yacht's southbound maiden voyage was held on October 16.

The Secretary for Transport and Logistics of the Hong Kong SAR Government, Mabel Chan, said today that the total number of visitors to Hong Kong during the National Day Golden Week was about 1.6 million, including more than 1.41 million inbound visitors from the mainland, higher than the number of mainland visitors during last year's eight-day National Day Golden Week. The new Huanggang Port will officially open at 6:30 a.m. on October 12. On October 16, the bureau and the Marine Department will hold the maiden voyage ceremony for the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao yacht free travel "Guangdong yachts heading south," building on "Hong Kong yachts heading north" to usher in a maritime version of "two-way travel."
