Ministry of Commerce and 7 other departments: Promote high-level opening up in the e-commerce sector.

The Ministry of Commerce and six other departments issued a notice on implementing the "Five Excellences" initiative for quality e-commerce. The notice states that high-level opening up in the e-commerce sector will be promoted. The multilateral and bilateral cooperation mechanisms of "Silk Road E-commerce" will be deepened, comprehensively expanding policy exchanges, industry matchmaking, capacity building, and local cooperation. China will actively participate in global e-commerce governance, deepen the implementation of achievements such as single declaration for two reports, electronic bills of lading, and cross-border identity authentication, and push cooperation to upgrade from "commodity going global" to "rules alignment."
