The National Disability Prevention Action Plan has been issued.

Journalists learned on October 10 that, with the approval of the State Council, the State Council Working Committee on Disability recently issued the National Disability Prevention Action Plan, which sets out the guiding ideology, main indicators, major actions, special projects, and organizational implementation for China's disability prevention work during the "15th Five-Year Plan" period. The action plan specifies 18 main indicators, 6 major actions, and 19 task measures; it proposes that by 2030, the disability prevention policy system and prevention and control network will be more complete, society's awareness of disability prevention will be significantly enhanced, the main causes of disability in key areas will be effectively controlled, and the comprehensive capacity for disability risk prevention and control will be further improved, providing solid support for the construction of a Healthy China, high-quality population development, and the comprehensive development of the cause of persons with disabilities.
