U.S. stocks close: All three major stock indices closed lower.

The Dow fell 0.61%, the S&P 500 dropped 0.45%, and the Nasdaq declined 0.78%. Coinbase Global fell 10.11%, Axon Enterprise dropped 9.83%, Jack Henry fell 6.30%, Chipotle dropped 5.94%, Carvana Co. fell 5.60%, and Casey's dropped 5.55%. Among the "Magnificent Seven": Meta Platforms rose 0.68%, Nvidia gained 0.54%, Apple fell 0.52%, Tesla dropped 0.67%, Google fell 1.24%, Microsoft declined 1.72%, and Amazon dropped 2.01%.
