According to the Zhitong Finance APP, on August 11, the Hong Kong Census and Statistics Department released the results of the business situation survey for small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) in July 2026. The current trend index for SME business revenue declined from 44.0 in June 2026, which is in the contraction zone, to 43.8 in July 2026, while the business revenue outlook index for the next month (August 2026) stands at 46.8.
