During the impact of Typhoon "Baidai" on Shanghai, some netizens intentionally published false information related to the typhoon to gain traffic and attract attention, interfering with disaster response and flood control efforts, thereby causing negative social consequences. Recently, the Shanghai police have investigated 11 cases of fabricating facts to disrupt public order, and 12 individuals involved have been administratively punished in accordance with the law.
