157 institutions! The number of billion-dollar securities private equity firms has reached a historic high.

According to the latest monitoring data from the third-party institution Private Fund Industry Research Institute, as of July 31, the number of securities private equity firms with over 10 billion yuan in assets reached 157, an increase of 15 from 142 in June. Among them, 23 newly established private equity firms surpassed the 10 billion yuan mark, while 8 firms temporarily exited this tier. In July, among the 23 private equity firms that broke the 10 billion yuan threshold, 16 were discretionary funds, accounting for about 70%.
