According to the Tianjin Municipal Development and Reform Commission, the municipal special plan "Tianjin Population High-Quality Development '14th Five-Year Plan'" was recently issued. The plan clarifies that, in terms of total population, by 2030, the resident population aims to reach 13.7 million, with a net increase of 700,000 in registered population; in terms of quality, the health literacy level of residents will rise to 46%, and the average life expectancy will reach 83.2 years; in terms of structure, the urbanization rate of the resident population will stabilize at over 86%; in the field of people's livelihoods, efforts will be made to stabilize the urban survey unemployment rate, significantly enhance the supply level of inclusive childcare and nursing home beds, and comprehensively improve the quality of life for the public.
