According to data from the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, in the first half of the year, the cumulative revenue from telecom services reached 887.3 billion yuan, a year-on-year decrease of 2.1%. Calculated at constant prices from the previous year, the total volume of telecom services increased by 7.7% year-on-year. The scale of mobile phone users continued to grow steadily, with rapid development in 5G users. By the end of June, the total number of mobile phone users among the three major telecom companies and China Broadcasting Network reached 1.844 billion, with a net increase of 17.04 million from the end of last year. Among them, the number of 5G mobile phone users reached 1.288 billion, with a net increase of 8.434 million from the end of last year, accounting for 69.9% of mobile phone users.
