The Ministry of Industry and Information Technology held a symposium on the photovoltaic industry to further interpret and promote the mandatory national standards for photovoltaic modules.

On July 30, the Electronic Information Department of the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology convened a seminar for the photovoltaic industry to address recent mandatory national standards, including "Safety Requirements for Photovoltaic Modules," "Identification Requirements for Photovoltaic Modules," and "Energy Efficiency Limits and Energy Efficiency Grades for Crystalline Silicon Photovoltaic Modules and Inverters." The meeting aimed to answer industry concerns and outline key future work. Participants included photovoltaic manufacturing enterprises, testing institutions, standardization bodies, and measurement organizations, facilitating in-depth discussions on standard interpretations, unified testing methods, and measurement traceability requirements. Experts from the standards drafting group responded systematically to priority and challenging issues that enterprises commonly raised, helping them accurately grasp the core essence of the standards, eliminate misunderstandings, and ensure that the standards are implemented faithfully. Moving forward, the Electronic Information Department will collaborate with relevant departments to intensify the promotion and implementation of the mandatory national standards, organizing various forms and levels of standard training to ensure comprehensive and effective application of the standards. Additionally, efforts will continue to improve the photovoltaic industry standard system, accelerating the development and revision of standards focused on new technologies, new products, and new scenarios, thereby leading the industry toward high-quality development with high standards and providing strong support for building a strong manufacturing nation and promoting the green and low-carbon transformation of energy.
