China Huaneng and the Shandong Provincial Government signed a strategic cooperation agreement.

On July 20th, China Huaneng and the Shandong provincial government signed the "Strategic Cooperation Agreement to Support the Construction of Shandong's Green, Low-carbon, High-quality Development Pilot Zone". According to the agreement, both parties will focus on deepening cooperation in major strategic investments and key project implementation, development and utilization of new energy, and optimization and upgrading of coal power.
