Reporters learned from the Fujian Provincial Flood Control and Drought Relief Headquarters that as of 8:00 on the 11th, Typhoon "Bavi" was located about 485 kilometers east-southeast of the border between Zhejiang and Fujian, with a maximum wind force near the center of 14. Due to the impact of the typhoon, from today to the 12th, the accumulated rainfall in the northern part of Fujian Province is expected to be 100-250 millimeters, locally up to 500 millimeters; with maximum hourly rainfall of 100 millimeters. The Fujian Provincial Flood Control Headquarters initiated a level IV flood prevention emergency response at 9:30 on July 11th and maintained a level II typhoon emergency response.
