Hengqin Guangdong-Macao In-depth Cooperation Zone Executive Committee's nine institutions reform officially launched.

On June 26, the institutional reform of the Hengqin Guangdong-Macao Deep Cooperation Zone Executive Committee officially landed, and the newly established and renamed working institutions started full operation. This round of reform focuses on the original mission of serving the moderate and diversified development of the Macao economy, systematically optimizing and consolidating the institutional settings, functional configuration, and boundaries of responsibilities of the Executive Committee, further establishing a scientific, standardized, efficient, and tailored duty structure system that fits the characteristics of Hengqin. After the reform, the Executive Committee has set up a total of 9 working institutions, namely: the Administrative Legal Affairs Bureau, the Development, Reform and Statistics Bureau, the Finance Bureau, the Industrial Development Bureau, the Financial Development Bureau, the People's Livelihood Affairs Bureau, the Business Service Bureau, the Urban Planning and Construction Bureau, and the Talent Development and Social Security Bureau. Each department will now officially perform their duties under the new institutional names.
