The Ministry of Emergency Management has initiated a national level IV emergency response to geological disasters in Anhui, Hubei, Hunan, and Guizhou.

According to the meteorological department's forecast, from June 20th to 24th, there will be heavy rainfall in Guangxi, Guizhou, and the middle and lower reaches of the Yangtze River. The Ministry of Emergency Management and the Ministry of Natural Resources conducted joint consultations and assessments, determining that there is a high risk of geological disasters in southern and western Anhui, southwestern and eastern Hubei, western Hunan, and southern Guizhou. In accordance with the "National Emergency Response Plan for Sudden Geological Disasters" and relevant regulations, the Ministry of Emergency Management initiated a level four national emergency response for geological disasters in Anhui, Hubei, Hunan, and Guizhou on June 20th.
