Samsung Electronics is considering building an advanced semiconductor packaging plant in Gwangju, South Korea, to meet global chip demand. Samsung is expanding its market layout in HBM to strengthen its position in the AI chip supply chain. It is expected that Samsung will announce its investment plan at the meeting between the South Korean president and corporate group leaders on June 29th.
