British startup PhysicsX raised $300 million in the latest round of financing, with a valuation of approximately $2.4 billion. Singapore's Temasek led the investment, with early investors such as Nvidia and Applied Materials also participating. The company provides an AI model that can predict the behavior of physical objects, making the design, testing, and assembly processes for aerospace and automotive companies more efficient. The company stated that due to a backlog of customer demand of around six months, PhysicsX needs to expand its team, hence the need for more funding. The company expects revenue to be "close to $50 million" this year.
