June 8th: The "Wholesale Price Index of Agricultural Products" decreased by 0.27 points compared to the previous Friday.

According to the monitoring of the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Affairs, on June 8th, the "Wholesale Price Index of Agricultural Products 200" was 113.23, a decrease of 0.27 points from last Friday, and the "Basket of Vegetables" product wholesale price index was 113.28, a decrease of 0.31 points from last Friday. As of 14:00 today, the average price of pork in the national agricultural product wholesale market was 14.64 yuan/kg, a decrease of 0.6% from last Friday; beef was 66.55 yuan/kg, a decrease of 0.3% from last Friday; lamb was 63.89 yuan/kg, a decrease of 0.5% from last Friday; eggs were 10.61 yuan/kg, an increase of 0.5% from last Friday; and broiler chicken was 16.97 yuan/kg, a decrease of 2.0% from last Friday. The average price of the 28 types of vegetables monitored decreased by 0.9% to 4.24 yuan/kg, while the average price of the 6 types of fruits monitored decreased by 0.4% to 7.53 yuan/kg compared to last Friday. Crucian carp was 20.17 yuan/kg, a decrease of 1.3% from last Friday; carp was 14.82 yuan/kg, a decrease of 0.7% from last Friday; white carp was 10.28 yuan/kg, a decrease of 2.0% from last Friday; and bighead carp was 40.18 yuan/kg, a decrease of 1.1% from last Friday. Today, among the 46 varieties of fresh agricultural products monitored in the domestic wholesale market, the top five with price increases compared to last Friday were winter melon, Chinese cabbage, Kyoho grapes, scallions, and Chinese chives, with increases of 4.9%, 4.1%, 1.3%, 0.9%, and 0.8% respectively; while the top five with price decreases were cucumbers, white radishes, lettuce, watermelons, and pineapples, with decreases of 4.5%, 3.4%, 3.4%, 3.1%, and 3.1% respectively.
