29 rivers nationwide have experienced floods exceeding the warning level.
According to the Ministry of Water Resources, due to the impact of local heavy rainfall, 29 rivers in Hunan, Chongqing, Guizhou, and Guangxi have experienced flooding exceeding the warning level, with the largest exceedance being 2.16 meters. Among them, 8 small and medium rivers in Hunan including the Wushui River, the Taohuaxi River, the Damian River, the Longtan River, the Yijia River, and the Youyang River, and in Guizhou including the Xiaojiang River and the Niulang River, have experienced flooding exceeding the safety level, with the largest exceedance being 1.40 meters. Currently, most of the rivers have reached their peak and are receding.
