Dozens of ships were burned in a fire in a port in Ecuador.

On June 6th, local time, a fishing port in the city of Manta, Ecuador, was suddenly engulfed in a large fire at noon. The fire quickly spread about 80 meters from the coast, causing damage to 14 fishing boats and 21 small vessels. Currently, the port area has been placed under control, emergency departments are working to control the fire and assess the losses, and the cause of the fire is still under investigation. Video footage taken by witnesses shows several boats engulfed in flames, with thick smoke covering the sky above the port.
