According to the Shanghai Containerized Freight Index, this week, the Chinese export container transportation market continued to improve, with ocean freight rates on major routes continuing to rise, driving the overall index higher. According to the latest data released by the National Bureau of Statistics, China's composite PMI rose to 50.5 in May, with non-manufacturing activities back above the boom-bust line, indicating that overall business operations in China are maintaining a moderate expansion. On June 5, the Shanghai Export Container Composite Freight Index was 2726.48 points, up 6.0% from the previous period.
