The Secretary of the Party Group and Chairman of the Beijing Municipal Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference, Wei Xiaodong, is suspected of serious violations of discipline and law, and is currently undergoing disciplinary review and supervisory investigation by the Central Commission for Discipline Inspection and the National Supervisory Commission.
