Two departments have once again urgently pre-allocated 160 million yuan in central natural disaster relief funds to support Hunan, Chongqing, and five other provinces in carrying out emergency rescue and relief work for natural disasters.

On May 26, the Ministry of Finance and the Ministry of Emergency Management urgently allocated 160 million yuan of central natural disaster relief funds. Among them, 1.1 billion yuan was allocated to support Anhui, Hunan, Chongqing, and Guizhou in carrying out flood control and disaster relief work, focusing on eliminating dangers, conducting search and rescue, and relocating affected people to ensure the safety of their lives and property. The other 0.5 billion yuan was allocated to support Guangxi in providing assistance to earthquake-affected people and repairing damaged houses, promoting the rapid recovery of normal production and living order in the disaster area.
