State-owned Assets Supervision and Administration Commission of the State Council: Central State-owned enterprises must effectively prevent and rectify false financial accounting information, and strictly guard against and crack down on financial fraud.

On May 25th, the Party Committee of the State-owned Assets Supervision and Administration Commission of the State Council held an expanded meeting and a collective study session of the Party Committee's theoretical learning center. The meeting emphasized that central state-owned enterprises should continuously improve the institutional mechanisms for carrying out statistical work in a standardized manner, further tighten the responsibility for preventing and combating statistical fraud, and hold those responsible for statistical fraud accountable; firmly maintain the lifeline of data quality, effectively prevent and rectify false financial accounting information, strictly guard against and crack down on financial fraud; establish a sound and thorough supervisory mechanism at all levels, processes, and elements, achieve real-time monitoring and dynamic warning of data of central enterprises; improve the training and work exchange mechanism for statistical personnel, guide central enterprise statistical personnel to firmly establish a correct view of political achievements, fully understand and implement institutional requirements, consciously eliminate fraudulent practices; tackle and rectify the feedback problems from the routine statistical inspections of the National Bureau of Statistics for 2025 in a detailed and solid manner, improve existing regulations and systems, conduct regular reviews and spot checks, ensure lasting and effective improvements; strengthen the statistical capacity building of central state-owned enterprises, focus on further deepening the reform of state-owned assets and enterprises, promoting high-quality development of central state-owned enterprises, strengthen the analysis of economic trends, dig deeper into the trend, regularity and potential problems behind the data, and objectively and truthfully demonstrate the achievements of high-quality development of central state-owned enterprises through statistical data.
