Today, the China Nuclear Energy Industry Association released the "China Nuclear Energy Development Report 2026" blue book. The blue book shows that so far, China has 60 operational nuclear power units, 36 units under construction, accounting for more than half of the global nuclear power construction. Additionally, there are 16 approved units awaiting construction, and the nuclear power installed capacity continues to grow, reaching a total installed capacity of 125 million kilowatts, ranking first in the world. This year, China has started construction on 2 nuclear power units and will complete construction on 7 units, maintaining its leading position in global nuclear power construction.
