The period of the "15th Five-Year Plan" is an important strategic opportunity for China's nuclear energy development. China will actively and safely promote the construction of coastal nuclear power plants, and promote the comprehensive utilization of nuclear energy according to local conditions. By 2030, the operating installed capacity of nuclear power will reach about 110 million kilowatts, and it is expected that by 2040, the installed capacity of nuclear power in China will reach 200 million kilowatts.
