Tencent customer service responds that the computer version of WeChat can now send voice messages.

Recently, some netizens discovered that there is now a voice button next to the "send" button in the chat box of the computer version of WeChat. Users can also hold down the Alt key on the keyboard to speak. Similar to the mobile version, the PC version of WeChat supports sending up to 60 seconds of voice messages, with progress reminders displayed while sending. Regarding this feature, Tencent customer service stated: In the chat box of the computer version of WeChat, click on the sound icon on the left side -> press and hold Hold to talk to record, release the button to send the voice message, currently up to 60 seconds can be recorded. If you need to cancel sending, you can drag the message to the Cancel button while holding down the screen. If the voice input icon appears abnormal, it may be due to the interface adjustment after updating the WeChat version to 8.0.60 or above.
