China Offshore Oil Corporation successfully applied its self-developed deepwater drilling riser system for the first time.

On April 17, it was learned from CNOOC that the first domestic 1500-meter water depth drilling riser system independently developed by CNOOC was successfully put into use in the eastern South China Sea. The riser system used this time includes a total of 30 sets of equipment, jointly produced by strategic partner Gem Machinery, achieving full-chain localization, marking a new stage of independent and controllable development of China's deepwater drilling core equipment.
