The 13th China Internet Audiovisual Conference opened in Chengdu on April 15th, and the "China Internet Audiovisual Development Research Report" was released. The report shows that by December 2025, the number of Internet audiovisual users in China reached 1.099 billion, with a net increase of 7.76 million compared with the previous year. The report also shows that Internet audiovisual, surpassing instant messaging, online payment, online shopping, and search engines, has become the most widely penetrated, reaching the most people, and connecting thousands of industries and billions of people as a digital service carrier that has long held the top spot among Internet applications.
