National Healthcare Security Administration: Actively promoting greater openness and transparency of price information for the same medication across different channels.
This morning, the State Council Information Office held a regular policy briefing. Wang Xiaoning, director of the Medical Insurance Bureau's Pharmaceutical Pricing and Bidding Procurement Division, said that overall, due to differences in operating costs, procurement channels, and sales strategies, there are certain price differences for drugs in public hospitals, physical pharmacies, and online pharmacies. We are actively promoting greater transparency in price information for the same drug in different channels, guiding fair and reasonable pricing in different channels, achieving "comparing prices from three sources", and making it more convenient and reassuring for the people to buy medicine.
