Jiangsu: vigorously develop new forms of cross-border e-commerce and other industries, creating new advantages to attract foreign investment.

On April 9th, the leadership group for promoting the construction of the "Belt and Road" in Jiangsu Province held a meeting. The meeting emphasized the need to improve the connectivity network, accelerate the construction of the China-Europe freight train center, promote efficient connection between the China-Europe freight train and the Yangtze River Golden Waterway, as well as coastal ports, strengthen the international passenger and freight transportation network, improve the standard connectivity level, and implement "small yet beautiful" people's livelihood projects. It also stressed the need to continue to explore the space for economic and trade investment cooperation, tap into the potential of emerging markets, expand the export of high-quality goods and services, vigorously develop new formats such as cross-border e-commerce, and shape new advantages in attracting foreign investment. Furthermore, it called for actively expanding practical cooperation in emerging fields such as scientific and technological innovation, green low-carbon, digital economy, and modern agriculture, to achieve mutual benefit and win-win results.
