- The Guangzhou Railway Supervision and Administration Bureau legally interviewed the Guangdong Intercity Railway Operation Limited and China Railway Guangzhou Engineering Group Co., Ltd.

On March 27, in accordance with the "Implementation Measures for Railway Safety Production Talks," the Guangzhou Railway Supervision and Administration Bureau, in conjunction with the Guangdong Provincial Department of Transportation, held talks with the main leaders of Guangdong Intercity Railway Operations Co., Ltd. and China Railway Guangzhou Engineering Group Co., Ltd. regarding serious issues such as weak management in the construction specialty, inadequate implementation of safety measures at construction sites, inadequate quality control at the source of engineering construction, and inadequate daily maintenance of railway traffic equipment. The talk group briefed on the prominent issues identified during the inspection, listened to reports on the rectification measures of the units being talked to, questioned the relevant issues, reminded and admonished the main responsible persons of the units being talked to, and conducted dissemination of relevant laws and regulations. The meeting required the following: first, to enhance political positioning and strengthen the responsibility for safety, to prevent and resolve major safety risks from the source. Second, to adhere to the problem-oriented closed-loop rectification, comprehensively identify and rectify hidden dangers, and ensure the safety of intercity railway transportation. Third, to strengthen the safety foundation, improve the management and control system, and enhance the standardization and refinement of safety management.
