NVIDIA CEO Huang Renxun called on the leaders of the tech industry to avoid spreading AI panic, stating that by 2030, Anthropic's revenues could exceed $1 trillion.
NVIDIA CEO Huang Renxun, when responding to questions about the dispute between Anthropic and the Pentagon, stated that technology leaders need to be cautious with their words to avoid causing public panic about artificial intelligence. "It is very good to issue warnings to the public about artificial intelligence," Huang said at a panel discussion during NVIDIA's technology conference. "Warnings are good, but scare tactics are not as good, because this technology is too important to us." Huang believes that the greatest national security risk related to artificial intelligence is that the public may become angry, fearful, or suspicious, leading to the United States falling behind its competitors in adopting this technology.
Anthropic is an important customer of NVIDIA and also the developer of the chatbot Claude. Huang remains optimistic about Anthropic's financial prospects. He stated that he believes Anthropic's revenue could exceed $1 trillion by 2030.
