On the morning of March 19th, Xu Lin, Party Secretary of the Guizhou Provincial Party Committee and Chairman of the Standing Committee of the Provincial People's Congress, met with Wu Lei, Party Secretary and Chairman of Shanghai Electric Group, in Guiyang. The two sides had in-depth exchanges on deepening cooperation in the energy equipment industry and promoting green high-quality development. Xu Lin said that he hoped Shanghai Electric would fully leverage its technological advantages in the fields of wind power, energy storage, and smart grids, as well as its complete industry chain capabilities, to increase investment in Guizhou, expand cooperation areas, and innovate cooperation models. Wu Lei stated that Shanghai Electric will closely follow the needs of Guizhou's energy transformation and industrial upgrading, fully leverage its advantages in clean energy equipment and digital transformation, actively promote the energy saving and upgrading of coal-fired power units in the province, explore paths for increasing the added value of coal chemical industry such as smart power plants and green methanol, participate in the construction of projects in Guizhou such as industrial automation, aviation and aerospace, and green low-carbon industrial parks, and help Guizhou build a clean, low-carbon, safe, and efficient energy system. Both sides will work together to promote high-quality development and achieve win-win cooperation.
