Recently, a criminal verdict disclosed by the Putuo District People's Court in Shanghai showed that the court recently sentenced a former employee of Ele.me for non-state personnel bribery, sentencing him to eight months in prison with a one-year probation period and a fine of 30,000 yuan. The verdict stated that the employee, while serving as the head of the comprehensive service provider management group at Ele.me, used his position to help a company in Shanghai continue to undertake business in Taiyuan, Shanxi and Jinhua, Zhejiang, and illegally accepted bribes three times, totaling 250,000 yuan in cash.
