The Ministry of Natural Resources has released the "2025 China Ocean Economy Statistical Bulletin". Preliminary calculations show that the total marine production value in China in 2025 was 11.018 trillion yuan, an increase of 5.5% over the previous year, accounting for 7.9% of the national GDP, which is 0.1 percentage points higher than the previous year. In terms of the three industries, the value added of the marine primary industry was 492.3 billion yuan, the value added of the secondary industry was 4.1017 trillion yuan, and the value added of the tertiary industry was 6.424 trillion yuan, accounting for 4.5%, 37.2%, and 58.3% of the total marine production value respectively.
