24 days before the Spring Festival travel rush, Hainan's comprehensive transportation network saw a total of over 14.05 million passenger trips.

According to the Hainan Daily, the 2026 Spring Festival travel period is from February 2nd to March 13th, totaling 40 days. Currently, the Spring Festival travel work is progressing smoothly. On February 26, a reporter from the Hainan Daily learned from a news conference on the progress of the closure of the Hainan Free Trade Port that as of February 25, the total comprehensive transportation passenger volume during the Spring Festival period in the province has reached 14.055 million, an increase of 8.2% year-on-year. Among them, the total number of inbound and outbound island passengers reached 8.184 million, an increase of 9% compared to the previous year.
