China Telecom has established a new company called Smart Technology in Hunan.

According to the QiChaCha app, recently, China Telecom Smart Technology Co., Ltd. was established, with Zhang Weiping as its legal representative and a registered capital of 10 million yuan. Its business scope includes network and information security software development, information system integration services, information system operation and maintenance services, and 5G communication technology services. Equity penetration data from QiChaCha shows that the company is indirectly wholly owned by China Telecom.
