Colombia launches anti-dumping investigation on galvanized wire coils from China

According to the Ministry of Commerce, on February 11, 2026, the Ministry of Trade, Industry and Tourism of Colombia issued Announcement No. 097 in the official bulletin. In response to an application from Colombian producer PROALCO S.A.S., an anti-dumping investigation was launched on galvanized wire rod originating from China. The products involved in the case are low carbon alloy and non-alloy steel wire rods, annealed and galvanized, under Colombian tariff numbers 7217.10.00.00, 7217.20.00.00, and 7229.90.00.00.
