Zhao Haijun, CEO of SMIC: The off-season in the fourth quarter of last year was not weak, with overall 12-inch production close to full capacity.

On February 11th, Zhao Haijun, co-CEO of SMIC, stated at the performance meeting that the off-season in the fourth quarter of 2025 is not weak. The company achieved a total sales revenue of 2.489 billion US dollars, with a 4.5% increase compared to the previous period. Wafer revenue increased by 1.5% compared to the previous period, and both sales volume and average price increased slightly. Other revenue increased by 64% compared to the previous period, mainly due to the concentrated shipment of photomasks at the end of the year. With the addition of 16,000 pieces of 12-inch capacity in the quarter, the company's capacity utilization rate remained at 95.7%. The utilization rate of 8-inch wafers was overall overloaded, and 12-inch wafers were close to full capacity, mainly due to the continuous switching and iterative effects of the industrial chain.
