The main tower is planned to be topped out around April, and the installation of catwalk will start in the second half of the year. The construction of anchoring and anchor bodies is steadily progressing. As the first double-layer composite highway tunnel in the Pearl River Estuary, the Lion Ocean Tunnel is approximately 35 kilometers long, connecting South China Sea in Guangzhou to Sanda and Humen in Dongguan to the east. The project adopts a design of 16 lanes on two levels, with 11 interchanges.
